A living legacy of love, belonging, and support — created in honor of Rhonda Peritore.

What began as a simple way to support our friend and teammate Rhonda Peritore became something far greater than a t-shirt or a single moment in time. It became a movement rooted in love, community, and the belief that no one should walk through hard seasons alone.

Rhonda was the kind of person who quietly carried others. Behind the scenes, she helped families access YMCA programs and services they might not otherwise be able to afford. She did this work with care, patience, and deep compassion — not for recognition, but because she truly believed in the Y’s mission and in the people we serve.

Even while facing her own health journey, Rhonda continued to show up for others. Her strength, commitment, and heart for families left a lasting mark on our YMCA community.

Honoring Rhonda

Rhonda Peritore served in our YMCA Business Office, where she worked behind the scenes to help families navigate access to YMCA services — especially those who might not otherwise be able to afford them. Her work wasn’t loud or public, but it was deeply meaningful. She carried families through hard seasons with patience, care, and integrity.

Outside of work, Rhonda loved time on the lake, weekend trips with her husband, and being present with her children. She was deeply proud of her family, deeply committed to her work, and deeply loved by this community.

Even in the hardest season of her life, Rhonda continued to serve with grace and dedication — showing up for others all the way to the end.

Her life was a reflection of what the Y stands for: compassion, service, and belonging.

The Purpose of the We Love You Fund

The We Love You Fund exists to help families in moments when life feels heavy — whether through financial assistance, access to programs, or support during unexpected hardship.

This fund reflects Rhonda’s heart:

Helping families access YMCA services they might not otherwise be able to afford
