Scholarship Program
Here at the Fox Valley Family YMCA, we believe that everyone deserves a Y experience. We strive to never turn anyone away for their inability to pay, and with the help of our donors through our annual giving campaign we are able to provide financial assistance to deserving youth and families in our community.
The Fox Valley Family YMCA’s Scholarship Program is our way of helping youth and families afford membership and programs. Scholarships are based on income and family size and cover a percentage of the cost.
Those interested in applying can download the scholarship application or ask for one in-person at either Y location. You will be asked to fill out the application and proof of any and all income your family receives and all the required documentation listed on the application. Please keep in mind that the approval process may take up to 10 business days due to the number of applications we receive.
If you already receive a scholarship and would like to renew, you must still fill out the application and provide proof of income as we need to keep our records up to date. Please submit your application a month prior to your membership expiration date so that you can continue to visit our facilities as renewals undergo the same approval process as new applications.
