About

We are a cause-driven organization focused on three key areas:

Youth Development

Healthy Living

Social Responsibility

Our vision as the Fox Valley Family YMCA is to strengthen the foundation of our community by ensuring that participants have the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. We are dedicated to building healthy, confident, connected and secure children, adults, families and communities. Our impact is felt when an individual makes a healthy choice, when a mentor inspires a child and when a community comes together for the common good. We nurture the potential of every youth and teen, improve our areas of health and well-being, and provide opportunities to give back and support neighbors.

We are a charity.

We strive to never turn anyone away.

Scholarship Program

Here at the Fox Valley Family YMCA, we believe that everyone deserves a Y experience. We strive to never turn anyone away for their inability to pay, and with the help of our donors through our annual giving campaign we are able to provide financial assistance to deserving youth and families in our community.

The Fox Valley Family YMCA’s Scholarship Program is our way of helping youth and families afford membership and programs. Scholarships are based on income and family size and cover a percentage of the cost.

Those interested in applying can download the scholarship application or ask for one in-person at either Y location. You will be asked to fill out the application and proof of any and all income your family receives and all the required documentation listed on the application. Please keep in mind that the approval process may take up to 10 business days due to the number of applications we receive.

If you already receive a scholarship and would like to renew, you must still fill out the application and provide proof of income as we need to keep our records up to date. Please submit your application a month prior to your membership expiration date so that you can continue to visit our facilities as renewals undergo the same approval process as new applications.

Scholarships are made possible by generous donors and partners who are committed to providing resources that increase access so more people in our community can come together for the common good.

Donate for a better us, today.

Meet the people who make it happen.
