Welcome our New Camp Director!

JC Wagner

JC grew up in Joliet and attended college at Millikin University where he ran Division 3 Track and Field and majored in Health, Fitness and Recreation. After graduating from Millikin in 2017 he moved to the northeast with his then-girlfriend, now wife, Colleen. While moving around the northeast, JC worked as the Program Coordinator for Girls Inc. in Nashua, New Hampshire, he got his start working for the YMCA in New Haven, Connecticut as the Assistant Camp Director and most recently worked as the Camp Director in Rochester, New York. After four years of moving, JC and his wife are so excited to be returning home for good with their two dogs, Nike and Briggs.

In his 3 years working for the Y, JC has found a passion for working with young kids and athletics. He himself loved sports at an early age and hopes in his new position as the Youth & Family Director, that he can help young kids find a game they love and give them a strong and safe foundation from which to grow.
