Before & After School Enrichment Program
The Y provides a supportive environment where kids begin and end their day with fun, learning, and friendship. Our Before and After School Enrichment Program helps children grow in confidence and character through guided play, academic support, and positive role models — giving families peace of mind and more quality time together.
A healthy, nut-free breakfast snack is served in the morning, and a nutritious afternoon snack is provided after school. Morning care begins at 6:30 AM and runs until school starts. Afternoon care begins at dismissal and continues until 6:00 PM, including early dismissal days.
Exciting Updates!
We know families need care they can count on — but we believe kids deserve more than just a place to pass the time. That’s why we’re reimagining our program to better support growing minds and busy families with more enrichment, more purpose, and more value.
Our weekly rotation now includes STEAM and LEGO® Education—bringing hands-on learning and creative problem-solving to the forefront.
Through Playworks, our staff are trained to lead and participate in group games that build teamwork, communication, and social-emotional skills—making playtime both fun and meaningful.
A consistent routine helps kids and counselors feel prepared and confident each day.
Most pricing options have been reduced, with the biggest savings for full-time families. Plus, full-time families receive a YMCA Family Membership to help everyone in your family stay active and connected.
One monthly draft will take place on the 1st of each month for added convenience.
Students will rotate through age-appropriate activities designed to support development and spark curiosity. Counselors will lead learning through play using 2 key program offerings:

2025-26 Rates
Most families will see lower rates this year. See the chart below:
1–2 Days | 3–5 Days | |
Before Only | $150 | $325 |
After Only | $175 | $350 |
Before & After | $250 | $425 |
This program is drafted once a month on the first of each month.
Why the change from 1–3 day / 4–5 day to 1–2 day / 3–5 day?
This change was made to provide greater value to families who use our program more frequently. With the new structure, families attending full-time (3–5 days) receive better pricing, and those attending just 1 or 2 days have a more appropriate rate that reflects their usage.
Grandfathered Rates: Families who were previously enrolled and are affected by a rate increase have the option to be grandfathered into their previous rate (2024-25 rate). These families must reach to our Billing Specialist, Rhonda Peritore at [email protected] to secure that rate.
