Activity Days
Activity Days offer quality child care for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade on non-school attendance days. Held at the Central Branch of the Fox Valley Family YMCA (3875 Eldamain Rd), care is available from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Families using DCFS/DHS assistance should contact our Youth and Family Director, Shelli Allred, at [email protected] or call the front desk at 630-553-4100 to register.
Students should bring a lunch, water bottle, swimsuit, and towel if swimming is scheduled.

Activity Days 2025/2026
An Activity Day is child care provided to school-age students from K-6th grade on non-school attendance days. Activity days are held at the Central Branch of the Fox Valley Family YMCA (3875 Eldamain Rd). Care begins as early as 6:30 am and ends at 6:00 pm. The cost of each activity day is $50(member)/$50(non-member), DCFS/DHS will need to email our VP of Youth Development Katelynn Marcoux at [email protected] or our Director of Youth Development Shellie Allred or call the front desk @ 630-553-4100 to register. Students will need to bring a peanut free lunch, water bottle and a swimsuit and towel if swimming.
