This program is designed to help youth:

• Build faith, friendships and meaningful connections with other youth
• Develop confidence and leadership abilities
• Participate in meaningful service projects that support the community
• Reflect on positive values through devotionals and discussions
• Learn the importance of kindness, responsibility, compassion, and respect

This program is open to all incoming junior high through high school students. We will meet
weekly to grow together spiritually, socially, and through serving others.

Each meeting will begin with a time to spiritually fill up through a devotional, lesson, discussion, and prayer. Youth will have opportunities to connect with one another, share openly, encourage each other, and build positive friendships in a welcoming environment.

After our devotional and discussion time, we will come together to serve our community by
being the hands and feet of Jesus through practical acts of kindness and service.

Activities may include community outreach, volunteer projects, team-building activities,
discussions, and reflection time designed to encourage personal growth and service to others.

Service projects will take place within walking distance of the West Branch YMCA and are
designed to help youth actively serve and care for the local community. Projects may include
gardening at a community garden, volunteering with local organizations, helping elderly
residents with outdoor yard cleanup, and participating in community beautification efforts such as picking up trash around town. These opportunities are intended to teach responsibility, compassion, teamwork, and the importance of serving others in practical ways.
