This is a platform to discover their classes, teaching style, and their passion for inspiring others through fitness. We’re thrilled to introduce our outstanding instructors and the Y’s diverse group exercise offerings.
Kids Fitness
We’re switching things up this month! While our Faces of Fitness series usually highlights instructors or members, June is all about the class — and we’re excited to shine a spotlight on one of our newest offerings: Kids Fitness.
Now part of the Group Exercise schedule at both our Central and West branches, Kids Fitness runs all summer long and is designed to help kids stay active, learn foundational fitness skills, and start building healthy habits early.
The class is led by our energetic duo, Melissa and Melissa — seasoned instructors who know how to keep kids engaged, motivated, and moving. Their fun, structured approach brings the perfect mix of laughter, movement, and skill-building to every session.
Whether your child is brand new to fitness or just needs an outlet to burn off energy, Kids Fitness provides a supportive, age-appropriate environment where they can grow in confidence and coordination — all while having a blast.
