Wellness Room Orientations –– Build Your Foundation​

A guided start to your wellness journey​

At the Y, wellness is more than a workout — it’s about feeling connected, confident, and supported. Whether you’re new to fitness, returning after a break, or looking to build confidence in the Wellness Room, the YMCA’s Orientation program is designed to help you begin — mind, body, and spirit.

This FREE two-part program introduces you to the Y’s wellness spaces, equipment, and programs while helping you set personal goals and build a plan for lasting well-being. Each session is led by a Personal Trainer who will guide you through safe, effective movement and support your total well-being. Begin with a guided introduction to the YMCA and Wellness Room. Session 1 includes a tour of our facilities, a walkthrough of our exercise equipment, and demonstrations of cardio and strength machines with an emphasis on proper form, gym policies, and safety procedures. After completing Session 1, you and your trainer will book Session 2.
