What was your initial motivation for becoming a fitness instructor?
I became a fitness instructor because I experienced firsthand how physical activity transformed my mental and physical health.
What's your favorite aspect of teaching fitness classes?
Honestly, my favorite part of teaching fitness classes is the vibe! I love the energy, the music, the laughs, and watching people show up for themselves—and each other. There’s nothing better than seeing someone smile mid-burpee or cheer on their neighbor. It’s not just a workout, it’s a little community that keeps each other moving.
Describe your teaching style in one sentence.
My teaching style is all about high energy, good vibes, and making fitness fun.
How do you measure the success of your fitness classes?
I measure the success of a fitness class by how people feel when they leave. If they’re sweaty, smiling, and walking out a little taller—that’s a win.
How does teaching group-ex classes impact your own fitness journey?
It holds me accountable to stay active and continually challenge myself.
What's some advice you would give to a new class participant?
First off—just show up and have fun! Don’t worry about keeping up with everyone else. Go at your own pace, listen to your body, and focus on moving, not being perfect. Every pro was once a beginner, and the hardest part is getting out of bed in the morning.
Tell us about a highlight moment in your fitness instructor journey.
One highlight I’ll never forget was when my class surprised me with a birthday party. I walked in expecting to teach like any other day—and boom! Balloons, decorations, treats and everyone shouting ‘Happy Birthday!’ It completely caught me off guard. We still did the workout, but the energy and love in the room that day reminded me how special this community is. It wasn’t just a class—it felt like family. Moments like that make all the early mornings and sore muscles 100% worth it.
What's a fun fact about you?
I secretly judge songs by how good they are for a workout playlist.
