Youth Soccer

With an emphasis on fair play and safety first, the YMCA soccer programs are progressive with age-appropriate rules to help teach the game and keep it fun!

Our soccer league is designed to develop skills and a basic understanding of the game. Teams are co-ed. For the 7-9 year old league, there will be an evaluation and  2 practices before the first game. For the 4-6 year old league, there will be 3 practices before the first game. For both practices and games, cleats are optional but recommended. Shin guards are also suggested but not necessary.

Please note: dates and times are subject to change.

Each practice kicks off with a fun group warm-up, followed by activities led by your team’s coach (volunteer parent) at your field. Teams will also participate in scrimmages. Practices are held Monday nights @ 5:30pm on the back fields of the YMCA. Games are held on Saturdays 8:00a-11a.
