The Y is the starting point for many youth to learn about becoming and staying active, and developing healthy habits they will carry with them throughout their lives. The benefits are far greater than just physical health. Along with improving health, whenever teamwork is involved, there's the added benefit of being connected to others. That's why you'll find a range of recreational activities at the Y. With something to offer everyone, there's no such thing as being too old to get in the game.

PICKLEBALL

Pickleball is a combination of tennis and badminton that is played by hitting whiffle balls with light-weight wooden paddles. The rules are simple and the game is relatively easy for beginners to learn. Played on a badminton court with a 3-foot high net.


BINGO

Bingo is a great way to bring people together to play an old favorite game and discover some new friendships.

The gym is reserved for full court, pick-up games during noon ball. YMCA Staff has the right to ask anyone to leave for any violations of the code of conduct.

Don’t miss a chance to join one of our most popular youth sports programs –– Spring Soccer League is designed to develop players’ skills, understanding of the game and elevate each players ability to play! Teams are co-ed, registration includes a team t-shirt. Practices are one day a week on Monday or Wednesday at 5 or 6 p.m. Games on Saturdays.

Ages 7 - 12
Test your throwing and dodging skills on the court in a fun and safe environment. Teams will have a max of nine players and will play up to seven games in 60 minutes. Each team will have a coach to make sure safe play is practiced. Games will take place on Friday evenings from 5:30-6:30pm.

AdltVBall01Thursdays | February 8 - April 5 | $250/team

This league has two divisions: Advanced and Competitive. If you are interested in a fun night of organized co-ed volleyball between novice and intermediate play, the Competitive league is for you. If your skill level is intermediate to advanced play, the Advanced division is what you’re looking for. Teams must consist of at least two females. There is an eight-team max for each division. AIKIDO
Ages 6+ | Tuesday/Thursday(Monthly) | 7:30-8pm(6-12 year olds) 8-9pm(13+) | $20M/$40NM | Central

In this modern, Japanese martial art, the student will learn to use his/her opponent’s energy against them rather than using force against force. Safety is stressed and students will be taught to fall safely and to work in a cooperative manner with their training partners. Register online or with our front desk at 630-552-4100.
