Programs

The YMCA's health, fitness and sports programs are developmentally appropriate and help people at any stage of life build positive health habits. Participation in YMCA programs offer youth and adults opportunities for friendship and community, a sense of well-being, increased self-confidence and improved mental abilities. To help kids stay active and engaged in learning throughout the summer we've put together our Summer Enrichment Program - it's packed with fun and educational classes for kids of all ages.

Dance LaPremiere

La Premiere Dance Company provides students the opportunity to develop technique and skill at a higher level of professionalism. This competitive and performance dance company for Y Members ages 5-18 gives dancers the chance to perform and compete at several venues throughout the year (including parades, competitions, special holiday events, and conventions). La Premiere consists of three companies; Mini, Petite, and Junior, companies are based on age and ability. All companies will compete at a local, national competition.

Our objective for the La Premiere is to provide a dance company that is fun and affordable so all children have an opportunity to be a part of it. Being a part of a dance company like this will grow your children not only into talented dancers, but it will also teach them valuable lessons that they will carry with them for years to come. Please join us on this adventure.

The season starts in September and runs through the mid-July. Two placement classes are held each summer for La Premiere.
