With so many demands on today’s families, parents need all the support they can get. That’s why the Fox Valley Family YMCA is about more than just looking after kids. It’s about nurturing their development by providing a safe place to learn foundational skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships and build self-reliance through the Y values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
The mission of the Fox Valley Family YMCA is to “Put Christian Principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all.” Our child care allows the Y to follow this mission by providing services for children ages 6 weeks – 5 years. The Fox Valley Family YMCA offers the Before and After School Program S.A.F.E. (Safe Active Fun Enrichment) in local schools. Our programs are designed to develop the whole child— spirit, mind and body. S.A.F.E. is a place where children build self-confidence and independence by strengthening leadership skills through teamwork activities created by the staff. The positive adult staff personnel create a warm, caring environment where children are safe and have fun while they create friendships with their peers. The S.A.F.E. program has affordable monthly rates to fit your childcare needs.
